Tomorrow, all primary members of the Coastal Association of REALTORS® MLS and the Sussex County Association of REALTORS® MLS will get login information to activate new Bright MLS accounts - including you.

This is when you’ll be able to login to the system, preview the MLS and prepare your account. It’s not your conversion. Your listings, listings in your area and your saved information won’t be available just yet.

You’ll receive two emails with your Bright login information.

The activation process starts with two emails that include your login information and your temporary password. The emails may not come at the exact same time, so look for both emails in your inbox prior to attempting to login.

The activation is just the beginning. The power up process includes 3 important milestones: Activate, Calibrate and Start

  • April 11: Activate, Set up your Bright account: On Wednesday, you will receive your login information. Take some time to login, set up your account, check your contact information and learn to navigate the site.
  • May: Calibrate, check your listings and saved information: In May, you will have access to your listings, saved searches and contacts in Bright. It’s very important you check this information to make sure it includes the important details based on the new Bright listing details, statuses, etc. You can also use this time to learn how to use Bright search and listing management.  
  • June: Start, Bright is now your primary MLS: This is the day you will power up on Bright MLS and begin to work in the new system. You will start on one of the following dates, based on your home MLS, or the MLS that covers the county where your office is located.
    • June 4: Sussex County Association of REALTORS®
    • June 11: Coastal Association of REALTORS®

Use this time to check your account information. Listings and saved information for your area won’t be available just yet.

By design, listings for your area, as well as your saved information will not be available just yet. The activation is designed for you to view and update your account information, register for training, navigate around and see what Bright is all about.
